21. Non-State Education

Non-state education is one of the most powerful forms of counter-economics. As Ron Paul points out in his book, The School Revolution, an education will always reflect the values of the party footing the bill. As such, one surely doesn't want their child's education to reflect the values of the same people who bombed a Doctors Without Borders charity hospital in Afghanistan, burned 26 children alive at Waco, and bombed a residential block in Philadelphia.

In this episode of The Agora, we explore the history of compulsory education, the disastrous results it has produced, and what you can do about it. Check out the educational resources below and the books used to create today's episode.
